Sitemasher, a SaaS Company, to Launch its Public Pre-Release at Software 2008 & Interop Las Vegas
Sitemasher, a Vancouver-based start-up SaaS company, announces the public pre-release of its website lifecycle management platform at the prestigious Software 2008 Innovation Showcase in Las Vegas (co-located with Interop).
Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) April 29, 2008 -- Sitemasher, a SaaS company, announces the public pre-release of its website lifecycle management platform at the prestigious Software 2008 Innovation Showcase in Las Vegas, April 29.
Sitemasher is a SaaS-based (Software-as-a-Service) platform that streamlines the lifecycle of building, managing, and optimizing sophisticated websites, transcending traditional methods that involve complex coding and integration of disparate components.
The Vancouver-based start-up company is one of 14 exclusive software companies selected for the Innovation Showcase at Software 2008, April 29-30 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. "The Innovation Showcase is the stage on which the most exciting companies can present their solutions to a top-tier audience of industry leaders," said an organizer with Software 2008.
"This is an excellent venue for us to show the world our revolutionary new product," said Nicole Denil, vice president of sales and marketing for Sitemasher.
If the comments of a Sitemasher early adopter are any indicator, response to the pre-release in Las Vegas should be smashing. Robert Salmon, chief executive officer of Independent Consulting Solutions in Bermuda, was effusive with praise.
"Sitemasher is new, outside the box and delivers a multi-tier solution: business, technical, and operational," Salmon said. "Business owners can take full control of their website's design and content completely and with more ease than ever before."
Salmon said he highly recommends Sitemasher to business stakeholders who don't want to call a developer every time they want a simple change to their website.
Phil Calvin, chief technical officer of Sitemasher, began developing the product in summer 2006; and Eric Carlson of Anthem Capital became the sole venture capitalist in 2007.
"Anthem Capital is delighted to be a lead investor in Sitemasher," Carlson said. "Sitemasher's web development tool is a quantum leap toward simplifying the website development process."
Ron Moravek, chief executive officer, joined the new corporation in August 2007 along with Curtis Terry, chief financial officer and chief operating officer for Sitemasher, both from Electronic Arts, Canada.
Eric Dorgelo, vice president of development, joined the team from Rockwell. Denil joined Sitemasher from Microsoft Corporation.
Moravek will reveal the software to show attendees on April 29th at 3:45 p.m PDT at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas. The Innovation Showcase is co-located with Interop Conference in Las Vegas, described by its presenters as the "leading global business technology event of the year."
