Cats Can Now Be Trained to Use the Toilet

Anyone can now successfully potty train their cat and get rid of that nasty litter box forever.

Ferndale, NY (PRWEB) September 30, 2008 -- Cat owners suffering from the litter box blues now have a new alternative to the litter box. Those sick of the nasty smell and tired of carrying heavy litter home each week from the store can now train their cat to use a standard household toilet.

Albany, NY resident Steve Silverman was definitely one of the sufferers and found the solution in an Australian product called the Litter Kwitter. Using the Litter Kwitter cat toilet training system, Silverman trained his kitten Farnsworth to use the toilet and eliminated the litter box entirely. He was so pleased with the product that he decided to recently launch his own company Funtastic Pets to import and sell the Litter Kwitter in the United States.

"I was just tired of the irritating smell and the constant mess. I couldn't find any cat litter or litter box that really worked well. I knew that there had to be a better way."

Each Litter Kwitter kit includes a plastic form that fits over the rim of nearly any toilet. The manufacturer includes 3 rings that slip into the form: a solid red ring, an amber ring with a small opening, and a green ring with a large opening. An instruction booklet and a professionally produced DVD are provided to guide you smoothly through each step of the training process. Best of all, it easily lifts off so that you can use the toilet yourself.

"It was a very simple process. As Farnsworth mastered each ring, I then switched to a ring with a wider opening. Eight weeks later I removed the final ring and he was totally toilet trained."

"We sold out of our first shipment very quickly and just received our second shipment." Silverman adds, "It is a well made product that cat owners will love."

Say goodbye to the smell and flush away those litter box blues forever by training cats to use the toilet.
