The BEOC provided alert notification, emergency preparedness and crisis management to organizations that could be affected by incidents in and around the DNC.

"During the DNC, our Emergency Operations Center was able to track trends and movement of crowds, as well as events that had an impact on our mass transit systems and ultimately our citizens," said Bureau Chief Holly Nicholson-Kluth, of the Douglas County Sheriff's office. "It also gave us information on activities occurring in Denver that we needed to be on the lookout for in our own jurisdiction. Using MissionMode, CEPP gave us valuable and timely information, giving us eyewitness views of activities occurring outside our jurisdiction that may impact us. It's obvious that the partnerships and trust developed by this project will have an impact on many events and situations in the future."
