New York, NY (Vocus/PRWEB ) September 15, 2008 -- As the November elections near and the race for the White House for Senator Barack Obama and Senator John McCain become one of the most publicized events in our country's history, Really Hot Music Rock Hip Hop Group HEDSICK drops the theme song of the year to reflect the feelings of the people as hardship and economic woes continue.

HEDSICK's first single release 'Lately' is a goose bumping rock ballet that touches on the human feeling of soul searching while questioning if we are really doing as much as we can to make our lives better or if we could be doing just a little bit more. It hits the feeling of disappointment and rejection feeling down and ready to give up but finding the strength to keep going despite the hard times.

"This song is that kind of song everyone can relate to. The lyrics of the song are powerful and allude to images of giving up hope yet wishing for the strength to endure and overcome these hard hitting times" says Anthony 'Sire' Martinez, Really Hot Music's Founder & CEO. "The video for this song is currently being developed. I envision a human interest story line that shows how we as Americans are in peril times being challenged at every angle. I want the video to reflect normal middle class Americans effected by gas prices, families and single mothers affected by inflation, fathers getting laid off and teenagers getting arrested. I think the youth have been forgotten in an election that seems to be more focused on Governor Sarah Palin, lipstick puns and attack ads that don't address the real issue…the future of our children" Sire says.

Whether or not the song will be picked up by either the Democrats or the Republicans as a theme song, has yet to be determined. "Politics may divide the people but music brings us together. Music heals us and unites us in heart and mind. It causes us to relate and that is something we as human beings can never get enough of." Sire goes on to say "I hope this song travels beyond our borders to be heard around the world by everyone and ignite a spark of resolve to answer the cries of hope by the people in need. We are all in need at this point and the answer to heal the soul lies only in humility. If only those so engage in politics would only practice a little."

The song 'Lately' is now available on ITunes, Rhapsody, Amazon, CD Baby and all other digital download sites. It can be heard at www.myspace.com/reallyhotmusic, and www.myspace.com/hedsick2008.
