FASoft Releases n-Track Studio 6.0

The new release comes to life thanks to the feedback of professional and hobbyist PC recording enthusiasts that for more than 10 years have been choosing the program as the ideal recording studio software.

Rome, Italy (PRWEB) September 9, 2008 -- FASoft announces today the release of version 6.0 of the n-Track Studio music recording and editing software www.ntrack.com. The software, known for over 10 years as the ideal PC recording studio, comes out with new features and performance improvements proving to be responsive to user feedback and to technology changes.

Version 6.0 is released after months of beta-testing and thanks to the feedback of the n-Track users community, which has contributed to making this release one of the most robust and performant so far. One of the very few audio multi-track recorders or DAWs available today as a native 64 bit program, among the new features the program adds support for the Bob Katz "K-System" level metering that allows for more accurate metering of audio loudness that privileges proper audio dynamic range over the "louder is better" approach that is common these days.

The new release reduces resources usage, starts faster than the previous version, uses less memory and CPU and no longer requires Microsoft .NET component to be installed.

A new Signal Path window shows a real-time representation of the routing of audio signals in the audio engine, enabling to intuitively alter signal routing parameters and connections. Support for Wave64 file format enables the use of wave files that have length that go beyond the 2 Gb limitation of regular .wav files.

n-Track Studio 6.0 works on Windows 2000, XP and Vista operating systems. It supports DirectX and VST plug-ins, ReWire connections and Asio, WaveRT, WDM or MME multichannel audio drivers. The program's ease of use makes it perfect for small studios and for music recording enthusiasts who want to record their own home made music.
