Euroscreen Appoints Geert Cauwenbergh and Yves Ribeill as Directors
EUROSCREEN S.A. announced today that it has appointed Dr. Geert Cauwenbergh, former CEO of Barrier Therapeutics Inc. and Dr. Yves Ribeill, CEO of Scynexis, Inc., to its board of directors, adding significant, further depth and expertise to EUROSCREEN's board.
Brussels, Belgium (PRWEB) July 14, 2008 -- EUROSCREEN S.A. announced today that it has appointed Dr. Geert Cauwenbergh, former CEO of Barrier Therapeutics Inc. and Dr. Yves Ribeill, CEO of Scynexis, Inc., to its board of directors, adding significant, further depth and expertise to EUROSCREEN's board.

Geert Cauwenbergh, PhD, recently founded Phases123 LLC. Before, Geert founded Barrier Therapeutics in September 2001, and served as CEO up to April 2008. He took the company public (symbol: BTRX on Nasdaq) in April of 2004. Prior, Geert held various positions during the 21 years of his international career with Janssen Pharmaceutica and Johnson & Johnson. Geert is also a Director of Ablynx, and Upstream Biosciences, and remains as a Director of Barrier Therapeutics.
Yves Ribeill, PhD, serves as Chief Executive Officer of Scynexis, Inc. Prior to founded Scynexis in 2000, Yves held various senior positions in Chemistry during the 20 years of his international career with Rhone-Poulenc then Aventis. Yves served as Director of Entomed (2004-2006) and also serves as Director of Scynexis.
