Internet Marketing Group Helps Company Who Disappeared From Google

On May 28th, 2008 MobileDemand disappeared from Google search engine results. The Internet Marketing Group (IMG) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa used their contacts with Google, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and Internet Marketing techniques to get MobileDemand relisted in Google search results in less than a month.

Cedar Rapids, IA (PRWEB) June 25, 2008 -- MobileDemand, manufacturer of the xTablet Tablet PC averages several thousand visitors per month via organic (non-paid) search results. Many of these visitors turn into paying customers and account for an important percentage of MobileDemand's sales. On May 28th, it disappeared. MobileDemand was nowhere to be found in Google.

MobileDemand immediately looked to the Internet Marketing Group, a Cedar Rapids Iowa based website design and SEO firm, who is a Google AdWords Certified Company for help.

First, they sat down and developed a list of changes to implement immediately. With three programmers and Internet marketing experts working on corrective actions, they were collectively able to "put out the fire" in the first couple of days. This didn't get MobileDemand back into the search results, but it helped to steer MobileDemand's well-rounded marketing and PR approach.

"I make no bones about it. I'm very aggressive when it comes to Marketing and PR. We've been partnered with Google for years. They've written a success story about our company, and will be shooting a video success story this week. I appreciate IMG's depth of knowledge and expertise. I'm especially thankful to have a Cedar Rapids Iowa based SEO company to turn to." - Matt Miller, MobileDemand President

The next step was for the IMG to formally request Google to reconsider their position on the MobileDemand website. Routed through special channels, the request included what the IMG thought Google's reasoning may have been, what corrective actions were taken, and why Google should return MobileDemand to a position of good standing.

Next, the IMG called on MobileDemand's assigned team of experts at Google. While Google isn't in the business of helping clients achieve organic search results, they are in the business of helping their best customers and AdWords Certified Companies interpret the rules. Google came through with some solid recommendations, and the IMG experts implemented them immediately.

The final step in the process included search engine optimization. Done properly, SEO simply means programming a website and writing content properly. Put differently, websites should be built and written for users, not search engines.

Once the SEO and website development was complete, MobileDemand, IMG, and a local PR firm (Henry Russell Bruce) worked together to resume Internet marketing and PR activities.

The plan worked. On June 17th, MobileDemand was reinstated in the Google Search engine. On June 19th, MobileDemand received several hundred visitors through organic search results.

"It's very easy for a company to be taken off Google's organic search results. The guidelines can be very complex and difficult to understand. There was no malice here. Googles' requirements span hundreds of pages of text. This is why there's a certification process for Individuals and very strict requirements to become a Certified Company. IMG is a certified company, and in this case the knowledge really paid off." - Mary Simpson, Internet Marketing Group.

MobileDemand is a leader in the Rugged Tablet PC industry, and operates in multiple vertical markets. They've gained recognition as an industry expert and maintain a diverse and well known customer base that includes the likes of Northrop Grumman, the US Military, Anheuser-Busch, Disney, FEMA, NASA, and many more.

Internet Marketing Group is a Cedar Rapids Iowa website design company with expertise in website development, search engine optimization, pay per click advertising, social media marketing, email marketing, and more. To learn more, visit the the Internet Marketing Group website.
