Casinojobs4u.com Announces Release of e-book and e-video "How to Get a Job as a Casino Dealer"

CasinoJobs4u.com new e-book and e-video "How to Get a Job as a Casino Dealer" goes behind the gaming tables for an insider's look at casino careers. Casino Executive Anthony Girouard says casino careers are hotter than ever and the gaming captial of the world Las Vegas is leading the demand for qualified casino dealers.

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) October 7, 2008 -- Casinojobs4u.com announced today the release of the e-book and e-video "How to Get a Job as a Casino Dealer" by Casino Executive Anthony Girouard. Written and presented in easy to understand non-casino talk, Girouard, a 21-year veteran of the casino gaming industry brings readers and viewers behind the gaming tables for a rare look inside a casino gaming career. As a casino dealer, casino floor person, and casino pit manager, Girouard's extensive first-hand experience and knowledge provides invaluable insight into succeeding in a casino gaming career.

"I wish I had something available like "How to Get a Job as a Casino Dealer" when I got started," remarks Girouard. "Unfortunately there really isn't much information available since the industry is still so informal. I wrote this e-book and produced this e-video as a response to all the inquiries I receive on a daily basis.

"At my new website www.casinojobs4u.com job seekers can get an insider's look into a career in gaming, especially casino dealing," states Girouard. "I strongly believe that casino dealing is one of the most lucrative jobs in a casino. Individuals out of work or new to the job market and unsure of a career path should consider a career in gaming."

According to Girouard, today's gaming industry offers a genuine career opportunity, not only in the gambling capital of the world Las Vegas, but in casinos around the world, on cruise ships and on Indian reservations. Recent studies indicate that there is legalized gaming in one form or another in all but two of the U.S. states. And, twelve states now allow commercial casinos and Indian tribes operate gambling resorts in 28 states. Casinos also operate on cruise ships and in select areas around the world.

Girouard says that individuals looking for a job change might consider a career in gaming. He points out that Las Vegas resorts are investing in new attractions to stay ahead of the competition. According to Recruiting Nevada, over 167,000 new jobs will be created in the Las Vegas area alone over the next 5 years. Girouard further cites 2006 Forbes Magazine naming Las Vegas as one of the top three best cities to find a job and in February 2007, Inc. Magazine named Las Vegas "Hottest City in America," among large cities.

Industry projections show $35 billion worth of projects on the Las Vegas Strip alone through 2010 according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. Construction plans are for over 42,000 new hotel rooms, over 2,500 timeshare units and 3.49 million square feet of convention space. Another $13 billion in tentative projects could also build 36,703 hotel rooms and 7,088 timeshare units. While economic conditions have scaled back or put some projects on hold, industry sources state that at least 23,000 rooms are currently being built and are on target to open on time. "I'm betting that Las Vegas will continue to grow over time," said Keith Schwer, director of business and economic research at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

While Las Vegas isn't the only place for a casino gaming career indicates Girouard his e-book and e-video uses Las Vegas as a frame of reference for his materials. "I strongly believe that if someone can make it in Las Vegas and understand Las Vegas methodology and terminology, one can succeed anywhere," said Girouard.

According to Girouard, Las Vegas residents enjoy comfortable weather during most of the year, do not pay personal state income tax and have non-stop entertainment, shopping and dining options available to them. Girouard believes finding a job in Las Vegas is not difficult provided the job seeker is prepared. "I really love Las Vegas," states Girouard. "The amount of casinos and clubs continues to grow each year, the hotels become more and more elegant and exquisite, and year in and year out Las Vegas continues to attract new visitors. Las Vegas continues to reinvent itself every couple of years and people want to move here to forget their boring and ordinary everyday life, to relax and to feel the real taste of an incredible life."

As further proof, Girouard points out that growth in Las Vegas for the rest of the decade is expected to shoot up sharply as the hotel/casino industry enters a new boom cycle. According to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority despite the ever-increasing selections of accommodations, hotel room occupancy averaged 90 percent in 2007. And, the Nevada Gaming Control Board reported that the gross gaming revenue for Clark County topped $10 billion in 2006, more than enough to maintain Nevada's status as number one in the nation for casino gaming.
