Los Angeles Photographer Dana Hursey Receives Honorable Mention at 2008 International Photography Awards

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 26, 2008 -- International Photography Awards (IPA) announced the winners of this year's IPA Photographer of the Year awards. Dana Hursey of Los Angeles, California was Awarded: Honorable mention both in Advertising in professional category for his entry, "Cowboy Chow Time," as well as Honorable mention in People in professional category for his entry, "Cowboy Portraits".

About Dana Hursey
Dana Hursey is a Los Angels based commercial advertising photographer. Shooting both nationally and internationally for commercial campaigns as well as documentary projects. Hursey brings to each project his wealth of knowledge and creativity from shooting a vast array of subject matter for a wide array of clients. A Southern California native he attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and is an occasional instructor at the College as well. His strong grasp of lighting and composition compliments his versatility as an image-maker. This along with his bold use of color and subtle sense of humor makes for a wonderful and playful mix of imagery.
