As the cost of high-resolution fingerprint scanners drops, matching software will increasingly take advantage of the micro-features formerly utilized only by forensic examiners. This discussion will encompass the extraction and matching of Level III fingerprint features and how such micro-feature data may be incorporated into a high-confidence biometric system. IBG Consultant Michael Chaberski will spend 30 minutes discussing Level III feature analysis, including:
