WOW Logistics Expands Idaho Distribution Center

WOW Logistics has announced they are expanding their 307,000 square foot distribution center located in Jerome, Idaho. The $4.5 million expansion broke ground in April and will add an additional 127,000 square feet of public warehousing space bringing the total facility size to 434,000 square feet.

Appleton, WI (PRWEB) June 1, 2008 -- WOW Logistics has announced they are expanding their 307,000 square foot distribution center located in Jerome, Idaho. The $4.5 million expansion broke ground in April and will add an additional 127,000 square feet of public warehousing space bringing the total facility size to 434,000 square feet.

The new addition, which is constructed for dry/ambient warehousing space will allow WOW Logistics to operate the distribution center with much more efficiency. In addition, this will create open refrigerated space in the WOW coolers for companies with a need for temperature controlled storage. Upon completion, the WOW Jerome facility will have over 350,000 square feet for ambient temperature storage and 82,500 square feet of fully racked refrigerated space. In continuing with WOW's green initiative, the new addition will utilize a new fluorescent lighting system as well as 24' diameter industrial ceiling fans that will improve energy efficiency year round.

The 127,000 square foot expansion project is expected to be completed in September 2008.
