Cutting Edge Minority-Run Non-Profit to Hold Open House in Celebration of New Office Opening
Special guests Deborah Levine, VP National Black Leadership Council on AIDS and Bill Mattle Executive Director, Stonewall Foundation to comment on their outlook for the not-for-profit and healthcare sectors.
New York, NY (PRWEB) July 14, 2007 -- ECQ Group, Inc. a New York City 501 (c) (3) minority-run, non-profit organization is pleased to announce the opening of its new offices at 333 West 39th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues. To celebrate its new look, new address, and new services, the firm will hold an open house on "lucky" Friday, July 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. A light breakfast buffet and celebratory refreshments will be served.
In addition to opening remarks by Elizabeth Levine, ECQ Executive Director, special guests Deborah Levine, VP National Black Leadership Council on AIDS and Bill Mattle, Executive Director, Stonewall Foundation will provide comments. Jeanne Mullgrav, Commissioner of the Department of Youth and Community Development of New York City has also been invited to attend.
In addition to mingling with interesting colleagues from the community, the Open House provides an opportunity for guests to learn more about several of the new service offerings which ECQ has recently introduced including marketing, public relations, policy and its longer-term outsourced fiscal management, HR and general counsel services. This complements ECQ's historically strong base in supporting health and human service organizations with resource and program development and community planning.
According to ECQ Executive Director, Elizabeth Levine, "We are very pleased to be in our new space and to have our expanded team to include business and legal acumen; two skill sets that are increasingly required in the competitive world of non-profit survival. This now enables us to provide a broader spectrum of solutions to our clients who are grappling with a huge range of issues from managing cash flow problems, human resource management and fundraising. We find that increasingly our clients are being asked to do more with less, and that providing them with options to outsource their legal, fiscal, development and human resource functions frees up their time to focus on their mission, their clients, and their programs. It also represents a huge cost savings for small and mid-sized agencies that cannot afford to hire senior level staff for these positions."
